Kick off the month-long Cuisine For The Cure™ cooking affair showcasing the talents
of some of Wichita ’s finest restaurants and chefs with “A Trip to Chile ” featuring the
outstanding wines of Vină Concha y Toro and special guest Sebastian Lopez. As
Vină Concha y Toro’s Fine Wine Specialist for the United States, Lopez travels around
the country implementing educational programs for Concha y Toro wholesalers and key
on-premise and off-premise accounts. His presentations focus on Concha y Toro’s
reserve collection of wines including; Don Melchor Cabernet Sauvignon, Amelia
Chardonnay, and the Terrunyo and Marques de Casa Concha lines of wine.
Lopez will lead us through a tour of the Chilean wine county as we taste delicious food
prepared by Tallgrass Executive Chef Aaron Knapp especially created to complement
these highly rated wines. Monies raised by this dinner, and the others offered this month,
will go to the Mid-Kansas Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
