The Wichita Chapter of The American Institute of Wine & Food Presents Tip your Toque to Julia! Click here to see event pictures As the premier pioneer of television cooking shows, Julia Child and her series, "The French Chef" has become an icon of modern television. Over the past 40 years, Julia, and her enthusiastic cooking style, converted many a casual foodie into a dedicated, talented home chef. Join us - and 19 other AIWF chapters - as we feast on the Tallgrass chef's version of Julia's classic: Boeuf Bourguignonne "the best stew known to man!" And on a cold February evening, it's time to "Zin!" Enjoy some of the Zinfandels of Rancho Zabaco while we watch the first episode of Julia's "The French Chef." Proceeds from this event benefit the AIWF's Wine and Food History Fund. Cost: $45 for members; $55 for non-members.
