The 4th Annual Midwest Beerfest

October 8 & 9

The 4th Annual Midwest Beerfest was a great success! The Beerfest fun began Friday night with the World Beer Dinner at the Marriott. The food prepared by Executive Chef Peter Moretti - last year's Culinary Scholarship winner - was superb and expertly paired with outstanding beers from around the world.  Guest speaker Lew Bryson, an award-winning, beer-drinking, whiskey-sipping, brewery-visiting, cask-tapping, thirst-creating drinks writer, offered insight and entertainment while filling the dinner with laughter and education. 


Saturday, The Grand Tasting and Silent Auction at Century II was as exciting as ever!  A great selection of beers, seminars, demonstrations and live music was enjoyed by over 1500 attendees. Funds raised from the tasting benefit the Culinary Scholarship Fund and the Silent Auction was a benefit for Starkey, Inc.
