Start off the New Year with a new “attitude” about wine! It’s a
“blind” attitude. If you know wine, or not, here’s your chance to taste 10
wines; 5 whites and 5 reds, bagged so you won’t know what the varietal is, just
the color of the wine. You will be provided with tasting notes and clues
from one of our favorite winos, Guy Bower, to make your own educated guess as to
what type of wine you are tasting. It won’t be hard, but it won’t be a
walk in the park either. Awards will be presented for the winners in
each category as well as the overall winner. It’s your chance to shine, or
just learn a little more about one of our favorite beverages.
The event includes wine and food provided by the board members but if you have a
favorite appetizer you would like to share -- bring it on! (Just let us
know if you will be bringing something, please.)
Everyone likes to share or learn more about wine and this is a fun way to do it.
