Terri Palmer Memorial Continuing
Education Culinary Scholarship
This scholarship provides an opportunity for a person working in the
culinary, beverage or hospitality industry located in the Wichita area
to pursue training at an approved culinary or beverage school to
continue the tradition of food and wine education provided by The AIWF.
Our mission, as a non-profit educational organization is “dedicated to
understanding and celebrating the pleasures, benefits and traditions of
the table.”
Individuals
will be selected based on the following criteria:
Experience: Applicants must have at least two years, full or part time
experience in one of the mentioned areas. Future career plans should
include working in the local area.
Deadlines: Applications will be accepted from now until July 30, 2011.
The scholarship will be for use during 2011 at a time of the
recipient’s choosing. The amount of the scholarship is up to $2,000
for tuition and expenses not to include airfare and will be sent to the
appropriate school.
Awards: Upon selection, the recipient will receive a membership in the
AIWF for one year and will be expected to participate in an AIWF event
upon their return from school.
