Ste. Michelle Wine Estates produces and markets a broad portfolio of premium
wines from acclaimed vineyards around the world. Ste. Michelle Wine Estates was
formally established in 1986 to accommodate a growing portfolio, but the
wineries that first comprised the modern company have a history dating back to
just after the repeal of prohibition.
Ste. Michelle was first introduced in 1967 and since that time,
the company has expanded its vineyard holdings to more than 4,200 acres in
Washington and California. In addition to Chateau Ste. Michelle, Ste. Michelle
Wine Estates today includes Columbia Crest, Domaine Ste. Michelle, Snoqualmie,
Col Solare, NorthStar, Villa Mt. Eden, Conn Creek, Stimson Estate Cellars and
Red Diamond. The company also produces the award-winning Eroica in partnerships
with the Mosel's Ernest Loosen and Col Solare in partnership with Tuscany's
Marchesi Antinori collaborating with our Chateau Ste. Michelle winemakers.
