“Sushi (SOO-shee), a Japanese specialty based on boiled rice flavored with a sweetened Rice Vinegar.”

And you thought it was just raw fish. Actually, according to the Food Lover’s Companion, it can be raw fish and so much more. Vegetables, raw or cooked fish, meats and more are enclosed in sushi rice and wrapped in thin sheets of Nori (seaweed). Cut into slices, sushi can be served as appetizers, snacks or a full meal. Join us for a great evening of sushi, sake and fun.
