Join us for "Wings & Wine," a summer tasting of gourmet food and cheeses,
50-70 wines and lots of fun and history at the Kansas Aviation Museum. Make
backyard barbecues and parties soar with the wonderful wines of summer.

With so many great wines on the market today, how do you know which wine
will serve you best as you grill steaks, take a walk on the beach or laze
on the patio? This is your opportunity to find out. We'll have some of the
hottest wines available as well as some of the "coolest." We'll also have
gourmet food prepared by the AIWF board of directors, a cheese tasting
table with cheeses from igourmet.com and a chance to talk with
representatives from major wholesalers to discuss the wines and offer
valuable buying advice.

This is also an opportunity to tour the historic Kansas Aviation Museum.
Originally known as the Wichita Municipal Airport Terminal, the Museum
opened its doors in 1991 with the goal of creating a world-class aviation
museum. While it is still under renovation, you will be able to "step back
in time to see the terminal as it was in the 1930s."  There are a number of
restored, and in the process of being restored, airplanes on view inside
the building as well as some outside. There are also a number of static
displays on view that show the extensive history of aviation in Wichita. If
you haven't been to the Museum lately, now is the time to visit.


As with all AIWF events, you need not be a member to attend!
